Logistic services and integrated logistics
To ensure a presence throughout the market, Torello has developed a network of platforms located throughout the country that are used for warehousing, distribution and integrated logistics.
In an increasingly competitive market, a growing number of businesses are oriented to outsourcing much of their non-core business in order to focus on their core business, thus giving rise to demand for logistical services: the business function which aims to ensure that materials are moved within a production cycle – according to the just in time management model – always reach where they are needed, when they are required.
Our objective, as strong operators in the groupage transport, is to strengthen the logistics through an active and capillary presence on the market. For this reason, Torello has developed a distribution network formed by logistics platforms that use advanced warehouse management systems.
Particularly interesting for their location are the multipurpose logistics platforms within the Le Mose Logistic Hub in Piacenza. The geographic position, close to Milan and to the ports of the Liguria region, is a crossroads of national and international traffic. Furthermore, it is on the crossroad between the main North-South motorway axis (the Autostrada del Sole) and the one that connects Torino with Brescia, thus opening an access to Liguria and Piemonte on one side and the North-East on the other.

Torello amongst the top 100
The Giornale della Logistica (Logistics journal) has placed Torello at the 57th place in the top 1000providers of logistics services operating in Italy.
The numbers give an idea of its growth, but the company continues to invest in people who are the real valuable resource.
The current logistics platforms
The entire network of platforms covers a surface of about 127.000 sqm of which 27,000 sqm of cold storage.
