{"id":3365,"date":"2017-04-21T11:19:50","date_gmt":"2017-04-21T11:19:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tntorello.com\/piacenza-multipurpose-area-opened-for-le-mose-road-hauliers\/"},"modified":"2022-10-24T10:27:10","modified_gmt":"2022-10-24T10:27:10","slug":"piacenza-multipurpose-area-opened-for-le-mose-road-hauliers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tntorello.com\/en\/piacenza-multipurpose-area-opened-for-le-mose-road-hauliers\/","title":{"rendered":"Piacenza \u2013 Multipurpose area opened for Le Mose road hauliers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Requalifying the area took several months, but now it is ready and yesterday afternoon, with the participation of the <strong>mayor Paolo Dosi<\/strong>, the <strong>deputy-mayor Francesco Timpano<\/strong>, the<strong> senior planning officer, Silvio Bisotti<\/strong> and the <strong>Torello brothers<\/strong> &#8211; Umberto, Concetta and Antonio \u2013 a multipurpose terminal was opened inside the <strong>Le Mose Logistics Hub, fully equipped for road haulier rest-up and refreshment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The mayor of Piacenza thanked Torello, in the conviction of having entrusted to a valid and competitive company the building of the facility, which was presented <strong>by Architect Alessandro Maestri<\/strong>, who is in charge of the via Nadotti project. <strong>A public area covering 25 thousand square metres<\/strong>, able to accommodate up to 130 articulated vehicles daily and the management of which <strong>has been assigned to Torello<\/strong> for eight years (renewable for a further ten-year period). Facility features include \u2013 guarded parking area, covered deposit, truck washing, toilets with changing rooms, showers, canteen, laundry and a lodging facility, <strong>available for use at a small fee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A fundamental hub for Torello<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>The Piacenza hub* has become our core activity and it is in this perspective that, after winning the public tender, we started work, in agreement with the Municipality of Piacenza. We saw the clean-up and restructuring of the area as a major step towards improving the working conditions and living standards of road-hauliers and all operators involved in road transport &#8211; said Umberto Torello \u2013 A much-needed service that puts Piacenza on a par with most other hubs in Italy and the rest of Europe.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p><small>*The Le Mose hub counts 14 operators, with 17 deposits.
