In 1975, in the heart of Irpinia, a company was founded with a clear vision: to make logistics a strategic and reliable service. Fifty years later, that vision is called Torello: an international integrated logistics provider, built on expertise, family values, and the ability to evolve.
Torello Group: from local roots to European logistics leadership
It all began with a single truck and the determination of one man: Nicola Torello. At a time when logistics operated behind the scenes, Torello had already grasped its strategic potential. It was with the arrival of his children—Umberto, Concetta and Antonio Torello—that this vision began to take shape. New expertise and a forward-looking managerial vision sparked a profound transformation: from a family-run business to a 3PL provider with a European network. Over time, Torello expanded through its subsidiaries: TN Logistica SK in Slovakia, TN Service for commercial and industrial vehicle maintenance, and DIF – Distribuzione Italiana Food, strengthening its specialization in food logistics. Each milestone is part of a broader vision called Moving Strategies: delivering complete, sustainable and tailor-made logistics solutions.

Sustainable and innovative logistics: Torello’s integrated solutions
Today, Torello stands for reliability and innovation. With over 350,000 m² of infrastructure across Europe, multi-temperature platforms, certified organic warehouses and advanced technological systems, the company manages logistics for dynamic sectors such as retail, HoReCa, fashion, automotive, shipbuilding, floriculture, high-tech, pet food and many more.
Artificial intelligence optimizes flows, while the in-house fleet ensures continuity and control.
Sustainability is a tangible commitment, documented in the third Sustainability Report published this year. From the use of biofuels to intermodal transport, every decision is aimed at reducing environmental impact and generating shared value.
But fifty years of history aren’t written alone. Torello’s journey has been made possible by hundreds of people who, over time, have shared values, faced challenges and helped shape a strong and recognizable corporate identity. Drivers, operators, technicians, employees, managers—each one has left a mark, contributing with dedication and professionalism to the growth of a project that today speaks to the world. This anniversary belongs to them, too.

A logo that tells the story of 50 years in logistics
To mark its 50th anniversary, Torello has unveiled a commemorative logo that embodies the company’s identity and core values. The tagline “Invisible logistics, visible value” captures the Group’s mission: delivering solutions that work behind the scenes while generating tangible, visible impact.
The logo will take center stage in all anniversary initiatives—from corporate events to digital communication—becoming a symbol of an entrepreneurial journey rooted in family, innovation and vision.

The future of logistics: the vision of Torello’s third generation
The 50th anniversary is not just a celebration—it’s a bridge to the future. The third generation of the Torello family is already stepping in, bringing fresh ideas, international training and a strong digital mindset. The new headquarters in Montoro, the symbolic heart of the company, is becoming a strategic hub for Southern Italy, thanks to its proximity to universities and key infrastructure.
Technology, sustainability and people are the three pillars on which Torello is building its future. A future shaped by smart logistics, efficient food distribution and a constant commitment to innovation—without losing sight of its roots.

In life, making mistakes is inevitable: I’ve always tried to face them, manage them and accept them—learning something valuable each time.
After fifty years, I can truly say I’m deeply proud and fulfilled by what I’ve built with my children—and what I’m now strengthening alongside my grandchildren. I’ve always given them the freedom to choose their own path, and I’m grateful they believed in this vision and chose to carry it forward with dedication and passion.I would also like to thank every team member who, through their daily work, helps grow and strengthen the company—none of this would have been possible without them.
Nicola Torello
